Amanda Laret

Dentist

Amanda is born and raised in Suriname. When she was fourteen, she needed braces and immediately fell in love with dentistry. She was determined to become a dentist. After finishing high school in Suriname, she decided to move to the Netherlands to attend dental school.

Amanda graduated in 2014 after studying dentistry at the university of Amsterdam, ACTA, in the Netherlands. She has worked in several dental practices and hospitals alongside some of the best oral surgeons and dentists. This allowed Amanda to gain invaluable experience and excel quickly in her field.

In 2017 she decided to emigrate back to Suriname to contribute to the country’s dental health improvement and to reunite with her family.

For her, being a dentist is not just a job, it is her passion! She stays up to date by doing a lot of extracurricular dental courses. This allows her to gain experience in different fields of dentistry such as treatment of periodontitis and placement of dental implants.

Amanda is kind and gentle and likes to work in a pleasant atmosphere where patients can feel at ease.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, garden, and stay active.
